ROLE SUMMARY

Rebecca is currently seeking a well-organized, perceptive, and prepared Executive Assistant who can provide high-level personal and administrative support in a part-time role. Rebecca is the sole owner and employee of Conscious Strides PLLC, and you will be essential to company growth and development.

You must be detail-oriented, excel in building and maintaining healthy working relationships, and kindly but clearly provide feedback. With your strong communication skills, comfort building systems and processes, natural drive for managing and completing complex projects, and initiative when faced with administrative decisions. A sense of humor, understanding of neurodivergence (especially ADHD) and willingness to learn are essential for your success in this role.

The intention is for this role to begin in a contract part-time Executive Assistant role with the intention to grow into an Operations Lead over the course of 12-24 months, depending on pre-existing leadership experience and on-the-job performance.

Conscious Strides PLLC supports ADHD individuals in a variety of ways, including clinical therapy, a virtual community, corporate workshops, and group coaching programs. The company is currently expanding its offerings to include: continuing education for therapists, a nonfiction self-help book, a middle grade fantasy novel, retreats, and speaking engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Rebecca on short and long term planning.

  • Help accomplish all major operating functions of the business, including but not limited to tasks such as assisting with email, managing calendars and schedules, coordinating event and travel details and arrangements, overseeing financial reports and project budgets, building an email list, and other administrative tasks as assigned.

  • Resolve issues quickly and effectively–seeing real problems, being comfortable with conflict, calling out problems, and solving the problems in a practical and healthy manner.

  • Field conversations with potential and current clients, including email systems and social media.

  • Demonstrate a relentless obsession with values alignment, focus, simplicity, and clarity.

  • Confirm that a high level of effective communication exists throughout the company as it grows.

  • Read, research, and analyze information as needed.

  • Proactively seek ways to assist Rebecca in leveraging her strengths by actively removing work from her plate through either personal or professional projects.

  • Assisting with various personal tasks as needed, such as occasionally walking the sweetest dog or setting up appointments.

Qualifications

  • Pro-active, task-oriented, and highly organized.

  • Analytical; able to make data-driven decisions and establish effective metrics.

  • Strong communication skills and a competent level of emotional intelligence.

  • Experience building an email list and social media following

  • Tech savvy, and unintimidated by learning software solutions ranging from SimplePractice to Square Space to Google Suite, and many other products as needed.

  • Must have existing, related experience working in a supporting role to an executive leader.

  • Available 10 hours a week, starting no later than February 2024.

  • Must be based in Washington, DC.
